Gold
All of our gold jewellery is 18k gold plated. We electroplate all of our jewellery by hand in studio using gold sourced from the United States. Our base metals consist of mostly brass, sometimes aluminum and copper. Our base metals are sourced locally in Toronto as well as internationally. For a list of exact materials found in your jewellery, please refer to the product page.
Plating
We plate 1.5 microns onto our jewellery to ensure long lasting wear. To be considered "gold-plated" by law, base metals must be plated at minimum 1.0 microns. 1.5 microns is considered thick plating and at 2.0 would be considered vermeil. (Vermeil is a term used to describe gold plated sterling silver which we do not use). A plating thickness of 1.5 microns enables affordable retail pricing while also ensuring extended wear. To keep the gold plating on your jewellery last as long as possible, we highly recommend following our care instructions found here.
If you experience any issues or faults with the quality of plating on your Goldscoop jewellery please contact us as soon as possible at hey@goldscoop.ca and we will be happy to help you.

Bracelets
Bracelet sizing can vary depending on specific styles and adjustability. Please refer to the appropriate product page under Sizing for specific measurements.
To find your size we suggest using a measuring tape to measure around your wrist. Or you can use a piece of string to wrap around your wrist and then measure the length with a ruler.
